Talk About What Matters.

Good Morning!!

"Talk About What Matters."

Anyone who has read the popular Harry Potter series knows that Lord Voldemort (equivalent to the Christian perception of satan) was commonly referred to as "He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named." Those who did not fear him or his malicious tactics; however, referred to him simply as "Lord Voldemort." There is an interesting correlation, I believe, with the way that the idea of Lord Voldemort was handled by the fictional characters of Harry Potter and how we as believers deal with the subject of satan. In observing Christian conversation, I've noticed that often times, we speak more about what the devil did, has done, and can do than what God did, has done, and can do. The characters avoided discussing Voldemort because of their fear of him; we, on the other hand, openly discuss the devil, whether it be to express our disgust toward him, our anxiety about what he's up to, or our testimony about what he attempted to inflict us with. The devil is our enemy, he's always up to something and is inevitably out to get us. It's just that simple; that's all the reference he should be given. Let's attempt to limit, with the intention of eliminating, the talk that we dedicate to the devil. Let's praise God more than we blame satan. Not because we're afraid of him, but because he's irrelevant.

Have a blessed day :)

...I'm just a reflection of Him. "He is the truth and He is so real and I love the way that He makes me feel...His light it shines so bright, I wouldn't lie."
